RWCMD Alternative Christmas Tree 2019

I wanted this installation to be as sustainable as possible, with little waste, therefore I chose a material that can be used again and again for a world of things; the ribbon and its colours were ideal because it had a direct link to Christmas.

Spirographs were my biggest inspiration for this design, I had the geometric drawing toy growing up, which sparked ideas with modelling 3D shapes and has taken me full circle from discovering the constant evolving shapes they create as a youngster to constantly being passionate about theatre, architecture and making.
